CommuniCorp joins the speaker line up presenting on 'Moral Injury'

CommuniCorp is proud to present as expert speakers on the topic of ‘Moral injury’.

Moral Injury is a term used to describe the way in which ethical beliefs and unethical actions can have severe consequences for psychological wellbeing. It has been most heavily discussed in high-stakes, trauma-heavy environments like the military, emergency first responders and among survivors of abuse. However, it is not particularly well understood, especially outside of these specific fields.

This event will be focused on mental health and look at three specific areas:

  1. How do we communicate with someone in the work place who is suffering from mental health issues? What are the rights and responsibilities of those employees and what are the ethical approaches needed?
  2. Culture – High stress cultures are a part of modern business so how do you ensure we are promoting a culture that protects people from being pushed too far?
  3. Moral injury – It’s not specific to the battlefields of war so what are the risk in the workplace?

Registration is free and further details on speakers available here.
